FDM Technology

FDM’s additive nature and soluble support material simplify the creation of parts with complex geometries and internal cavities. FDM technology is clean and office-friendly, thanks to production grade materials that are mechanically and environmentally stable. FDM thermoplastics also deliver the necessary properties for applications that demand precise tolerances, durability, and stability in different environments. They include many of the same thermoplastics used in traditional manufacturing processes like injection molding.

P3 DLP Technology

P3™, Programmable PhotoPolymerization, is an evolution of Digital Light Processing 3D printing. During the printing process light, temperature, pull forces and pneumatics are tightly controlled, resulting in repeatable injection-molding-like part quality and surface finish with high accuracy and tight tolerances. In combination with the broad range of performance materials, it enables functional prototyping and end-use applications across the widest range of geometries - from large bulky parts directly on the platform to the finest of features.

SAF Technology

SAF technology is powder-based additive manufacturing providing higher-volume part production at a lower cost per part.

SAF technology powers the H350 powder bed 3D printer. SAF uses HAF™ infrared absorption fluid to fuse powdered polymer particles together in layers to build parts. Powder management is achieved with Big Wave™ technology, which provides reliable powder distribution across the build area. Piezo-electric print heads jet the HAF fluid onto the powder, which is then exposed to infrared energy that fuses the powder together to form each layer of the part. 

Stereolithography Technology

Stereolithography 3D printing is renowned for industry-leading part accuracy, detail and sidewall quality.   

Stereolithography is an additive manufacturing process that uses a vat of liquid UV-curable photopolymer resin and a UV laser to build parts one layer at a time.  By using UV light to cure photosensitive polymers, produce parts built up from the vat of resin. 

The platform will move down to the layer thickness chosen and the process repeated until parts are built, ready for washing, removal of supports and curing of parts.
