If you log into the Frontdesk program (not configuration) you can create and restore the database. Complete the configuration of the Frontdesk program as specified in the instructor's section of the Student Workbook. Then log in as admin in the main Frontdesk program. From the file menu choose backup/restore and follow the instructions for backing up the data. If the data should become currupt, simply return to this menu to restore the data. This technique has saved me numerous times when a student has not properly deleated rooms or users as specified in the Student Workbook.
