Marketing is a systematic plan in which goods are transferred from a producer to a consumer. The Basic Marketing curriculum will introduce students to the marketing mix. Students will follow the marketing plan of a product from conception to maturity. They will study consumer behavior and how it pertains to marketing. They will create a marketing plan that incorporates the various stages of the product life cycle as well as distribution channels. They will be introduced to special considerations that must be made for the global marketplace.
