Inventor Interactive Learning Unit using Autodesk®

DEPCO's in-depth Inventor Interactive Learning Unit, based on software by Autodesk®, instructs your students on how to use the world's best-selling 3D mechanical design software in the industry. After learning the tools and functions of the software with DEPCO's interactive learning unit, your students will be able to assemble visual components, create an animation of an assembly, as well as understand how this software is used in industry.

Transportation Design allow students to explore manufacturing technology

Students will explore manufacturing in this technology learning unit that demonstrates the CNC process and the proper way to machine a raw material into a CO2 car finished product. Students begin by receiving an overview of CNC and Mastercam software. Students learn to use Solids to design their CO2 car, just as an engineer would in industry. Next, the wooden CO2 cars are designed by using the helpful tips from DEPCO's comprehensive curriculum workbook. Finally, students manufacture the cars using a CNC wood router, a great new addition to any technology, manufacturing, or pre-engineering lab.

Business and Marketing Interactive Curriculum

DEPCO's Business and Marketing Program covers many advanced topics such as accounting, marketing, entrepreneurialism, finance, and business graphics, while incorporating the National Standards for Business Education. This Business and Marketing Program touches on numerous business career areas, giving students valuable knowledge and hands-on experiences. In addition, DEPCO has included an activity in each title that focuses on topics relating to international business.
Each interactive learning unit contains fifteen activities, which include ten primary, five enrichment activities, pre-test and post-test. The combination of these self-directed modules and individual student projects provide a multitude of business lessons.

Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) - Pre-engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology lab

DEPCO's Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) is perfect for any pre-engineering, manufacturing, and technology lab. This turnkey FMS Workcell gives students training and skills in CAD/CAM, CNC and robotic programming and control, and automated manufacturing systems. The robotic system offers advanced robotic path control, speed, and accuracy while loading and unloading parts to and from the parts feeder, milling machine, and conveyor. The CNC machining center is a computer controlled milling machine. Similar to larger industrial machines, the CNC machine uses EIA, ISO, and Fanuc-compatible G&M code programs to cut parts in a variety of materials. The machine's software supports a number of programming modes, including linear, circular, and helical interpolation, multiple tool programming and canned cycles.

IAP - Industrial Automation and Pre-Engineering

DEPCO's new Industrial Automation and Pre-Engineering (IAP) program is a skill-based, hands-on, interactive learning system using equipment and software that is standard in industry. IAP provides students with not only the basics, but also the advanced knowledge and skills needed to have the competitive edge in today's job market.

This new, innovative program is designed as an advanced industrial automation and pre-engineering program - ideal for tenth through twelfth grades. This multi-level courseware, developed from national standards, will lay the foundation for post-secondary success.
IAP focuses on the development of industrial workplace skills. As students progress through the courseware, the classroom instructor uses a detailed rubric to subjectively evaluate the student's skill and proficiency. DEPCO courseware is developed from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) and the National Skill Standards Board (NSSB). Close correlation with these standards will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the workplace.

The IAP program is comprised of Industrial Training Centers (ITC). Each ITC includes multi-level courseware designed to develop industrial skills and automation integration. Each level includes twenty instructional lessons utilizing DEPCO's innovative MediaPLUS(tm) curriculum delivery system and full-color Industrial Training Manuals.
